Abstract
This article proposes a flexible payment system that is useful for buying information items over Internet. A flash disk is used as a cheap smartcard with a secure password to pay for information goods and downloads. In the proposed system, The flash device owner is able to get download links from any geographical location and download the files he has already paid for, as long as the file has not been expired. A low implementation cost and fairly strong security enhancements make this model useful for micropayment and also other special purposes. In addition, with the proposed model, the merchants could manage subscription activities easily without any imposed costs by merchants or customers.
